    Disc brake pads

Shipping to Australia is not unreasonable so looks like it's a winner unless somebody has any suggestions locally, although it would be unwise to go against Jason when it comes to brakes / descending

    Disc brake pads

So I just noticed my TRP HY/RD Disc brakes need new pads. Just curious if anybody recomends any particular pads. I have found the stock pads to be acceptable just curious on other options though

Merry Christmas to all Cruzbikers from Downunder

Merry Christmas @super slim and to the Cruzbike tribe I know the weather is terrible here in Adelaide . Christmas lunch is on the way here also. Sadly no prawns I will have to bring some to the inlaws next year.

Awesome commuter suit bag Cruzbike compatible

Not much mud in Australia at the moment, maybe in winter it will need some protection

Awesome commuter suit bag Cruzbike compatible

Does anybody have a suggestion for a replacement to the red jockey strap hooked on to the top of the headrest. Something that will allow the strap to run through freely, to ease putting the bag on. I am thinking a pulley or a carabiner but it needs to fix to the top of the headrest. Otherwise I...

Awesome commuter suit bag Cruzbike compatible

So I purchased the Henty Wingman back when I had a DF and commuted to work. When I upgraded to the Vendetta I thought I could not use it on the bike (I didn't need to at the time) but kept it as it can be useful to ferry clothes to my locker at work or for plane travel etc. I am starting a new...

    Helmets with visors

However their is a difference between a brand ensuring quality control over their Chinese manufacturer and a Chinese manufacturer pushing out a product without a brand.

    Helmets with visors

The problem I was always told of a baseball cap under a helmet is if you were to crash and faceplant (possibly less likely on a Cruzbike) the helmet holds the cap in place and the peak of the cap can be forced back into your forehead which sounds nasty. I used to run cycle tours / day rides for...

+1 for the Giro Air Attack although I also am lusting after the Vanquish which should be cooler in the Australian summer

Damn that's a good price, and I was going to work for them not Mile End another store but it was too far from home. Hoping to get in at Prospect when there is an opening although not sure how much of my pay will come home ;)

    I love this bike

    Stall speed of your Cruzbike?

Glad I am not the only one. I feel bad for not showing that Cruzbike's can climb but Serenity is just so fun to ride on the flat :) I generally don't train in the hills but ride them occasionally if I have to on organised rides. During which I tend to play leap frog with other riders.

Diet: Low Carb and Ultra Cycling

Whenever I read this thread my skeptic sensors started to tingle, I did a little research and found Keto diets were used to treat other conditions but not specifically for weight loss until recently but I did not have definite evidence that it did not work well here it is . That said any...
