    Commenting on bikes for sale

I often use Google Images to do a reverse image search when I see a new ad appear here. Just drop the pic into the search bar on Google Images (desktop computer) and I can usually see where else that picture has been uploaded. Scammers often say the bike is in a location other than where the...

    Curved slider

The handlebars are too close to my lap with a straight slider on my V20 and S40, so I used a curved slider to bring the handlebars up. I don't want to change the position of my feet. I like them where they are. On my Q45, I used an extender to raise the handlebars (since I'm using a S40...

    Curved slider

So are you saying that with the current chainstay you handlebars are in your belly and you need them to go up? If so, you may need to get a shorter chainstay - what is the length of your current chainstay (center of wheel to center of BB)?

Does anyone else have a design Wishlist for the next model of Q series?

Hi Dudley. I saw that you have experience with converting a Q45 drivetrain to a Rohloff Speed Hub. I'm trying to do the same. I worked with my LBS to contact Rohloff with information and photos of the bike. They replied the following: Did you have to do anything special to make the Rohloff...

New User - Testing Silvio 2.1

What’s the length of your chainstay? Is it the standard one or does it have an extension (a picture of the front triangle would help if you’re not sure). I found my Silvio 2.2 easier to handle than my Vendetta 1.0 thanks to the shorter chainstay (2-3 inches) that brings the BB lower and more...

    V20 Vs Slyway Ultra

I first owned an S40 and it did take me awhile to adapt to the back angle of the V20c. A wedge spacer is one option for getting a more upright angle. Another is changing to the adjustable seat by Cruzbike or a Thor carbon seat. My final setup is the CB adjustable seat, curved slider boom and...

    Looking for 21.5" chainstay

I have an issue where the inside of my thigh, just above the knee, is rubbing against the brake caliper. I have the boom and slider adjusted for leg and arm length. I'm assuming the longer chainstay will give me the extra lift to the BB and eliminate the rubbing. Does anyone have a 21.5" for the...

Does anyone else have a design Wishlist for the next model of Q series?

@Dudley, do you have another post with details about your Rohloff conversion? I've used one on a previous bike (with a chain) and agree it is fantastic.

Bottom bracket for 30 mm axle and 2016 V20

Those old chainstay clamps work best with flat surfaces to grip. Maybe see if Cruzbike has any newer chainstays in the length you want, they grip the bb shell. Otherwise find some flat BBs like: https://www.realworldcycling.com/products/bottom-brackets/mtb-bottom-brackets/bsa/cinch/...

Silvio V2.0 for sale in the UK

Selling my Cruzbike Silvio 2.0 which I had from new having bought the frameset in 2014. The bike was professionally assembled by Geared Bikes in Chichester. The bike is in the UK and I can package it for domestic or international shipping. I enjoyed learning to ride the MBB FWD platform and...

    Curved Slider or not

I'm just not sure what the chainstay options are. Can anybody tell me which length I already have, and if there are any longer options? It measures 49,5 cm from center of axle to center of BB, and it looks like this:

    Curved Slider or not

You should really get a longer chainstay - that will drop your handlebars down several inches and you will not need the curved slider. I can do a Custom Cruzeum fit session for you if you are interested. Give me a call and I can walk you through the process. Where do you live? Larry 828-216-7860

    Buying a used V20 Vendetta.

They do have serial numbers we are just a modding community and we can mode more than a traditional bike. When we dream up new stuff we often get it can can apply it to older bikes. This would be like changing the fork on a road bike or putting a dropper post on a mountain bike. We just happen...

    Buying a used V20 Vendetta.

Welcome Maverick1, and glad to hear you are considering a V20. From the screen shot, it is difficult to guess the chainstay length, but 1 thing that might ease your mind is that shorter riders interested more in speed often swapped for the longer chainstays so it would get their feet a little...

    Buying a used V20 Vendetta.

...in at a hefty 35lbs. I'm not too worried about learning to ride a V20, more about getting a proper fit. Thanks for that tip on the chainstay length, I'll have to ask the seller about it. Do you know any specific measurements for the standard versus the longer version? 35 & 38 kms/hour does...

    Looking for a V20 chainstay - pre-V20c

I want to retrofit my Silvio 2.2 with a V20 chainstay, prior to the V20c. These chainstays mount to the BB shell inside of the bearing cups, not to the cups themselves. I need the regular (19.6") length. Anybody have one they want to sell?

Are V2 and V20 parts available?

Hi, Main reason to extend chain stay is to lower handlebars only or something else? Also where to get chainstay for V20, it should be from Cruzbike only?

Are V2 and V20 parts available?

Hey Kurt, you should post a photo of yourself on that bike; it looks like your boom is too far back by about 2-3 inches; I'm guessing that's because you have big hands, and the curve of the stock handlebars is to tight to get your hands into the curve.... leading to that super high handlebar...

Are V2 and V20 parts available?

I am 6'2" ride a v20c and formally a v20, both started with standard chain stays. The length of the chain stay is used to pivot the handlebars lower. I don't see the length of the chain stay being important for x-seam length. At least to a great extent, geometrically there is obviously a...
