    Lightweight sprocket cassette for S40

I get this point. The front end is annoying when walking the bike. But when riding, i found it really doesn't make much of a difference as my legs easily handle the weight.

    Standard v's Vendetta riding

I agree. When learning how to ride a Cruzbike, it will go much faster if you just ride the Cruzbike. Once you're habituated, switching back and forth is no problem at all. But when you're learning to ride, I believe switching back and forth undoes some of the learning and really slows down the...

    Lightweight sprocket cassette for S40

Half a pound here and half a pound there add up to 1 lbs. Compared to the bike + rider total of at least 150 lbs for almost all of us (if not much more). Just isn't a big deal unless you're racing.

    Lightweight sprocket cassette for S40

Worrying about cassette weight is somewhat silly. (It doesn't even really count as rotating mass because the radius is so small).

    V20 finding that fit

I think it makes sense to set a position based on the calculations and then tweak it to feel. So, basically, I agree with you. :)

Our Three T50 Builds, and Maybe a Sofrider Retro-fit

If it's strung from C to E, I'd call it both a violin and a viola. :D Very cool! (My wife plays both violin and viola and the rest of us make noises on cello.)

Our Three T50 Builds, and Maybe a Sofrider Retro-fit

Very nice! (And is that a carbon fiber violin, or just a black wood violin?)

    Stall speed of your Cruzbike?

I've got a folding tadpole trike. It's not tuned very well (and it's a lot harder to get it to go as fast as my Cruzbikes), but it certainly is a lot of fun.

    Stall speed of your Cruzbike?

Get a triple. You'll still have an odd number of rings up front. :D

    Child trailer experience and suggestions

I can tell you I've got over a hundred miles of pulling a trailer with a kid or two inside with my Sofrider. (I've got many hundreds pulling a trail-a-bike.) I've pulled a trailer with a road bike before I got my Sofrider. I wouldn't pick the V as the Cruzbike I'd most want to use, but I'm...

    Stall speed of your Cruzbike?

I can go around 2.5 mph without problems for a fair distance. And I'm geared to do it with most of my bikes going below 17" gear inches.

    Tannus puncture proof tyres

I had a set of 1st generation Tannus tires on my commuter bicycle. It was definitely a rougher ride, but not horrible. There were no grip issues (except on wet grass). What I definitely noticed is the rolling resistance. Before my fastest commute time was just over 10 minutes. When I...

    S40 Build with Road Triple

The only real issue with these is you can't use elliptical rings. (I don't currently use them, but I'd love to try.)

    S40 Build with Road Triple

    Awesome. I love triples.
