    S40 Electric Blue Build Specs

I now understand. Totally repect your choice. Thank for sharing. That 40 deg recline is on the ballpark for a good balance between a natural head/shoulder position and speed. Quite rideable in traffic. And .. those colors and finish .. wow!

    S40 Electric Blue Build Specs

Nice! Iam suprised becuase most V20 owners here rarely give it(V20) up completely in exchange for a S40. They usually end up with both.

    new S40 colours coming March 31, 2020

Probably he is refering to the 700x30c tires that were included stock with the 2019 S40 complete option. By the way, these colors are truly lovely! I'am guessing the next one is .... luminous white? Hard to choose a favourite.

    new S40 colours coming March 31, 2020

Wow! Great color and a nice bike as always! Interesting! Has the fork clearance been reduced to handle rim brakes or is that tire huge?

Hello Everyone, I want to thank you all for the act of generosity. It is a worrying time for everyone around the globe. Here in Kenya, the government has closed all schools and other learning institutions and discourages mass gatherings and none essential travel. I'd like you to know that I'am...

Too big or too small for Cruzbike? Check the Chart. Take the Poll.

Beautiful build! The red and white really pops! That seat looks so good, almost like it came with the frame! The recline angle does not look extreme. Looks very balance and symmetrical. Congratulations.

My current (old) bike, was hard welded to fit me and is not very adjustable but I will definitely be open to help whoever I will find who shows interest. My first son is growing taller and is almost there, in terms of fit, so will be my first candidate. In terms of marketing, the finish on my...

    S40 frameset build options...

Barend shifters can look pretty retro, if you like that sort of thing! :emoji_nerd: My handlebar is an On-One Midge bar. They are flared dropbars for road touring and gravel/cyclocross bikes. Please note: they will not work with MTB trigger shifters...

    S40 frameset build options...

:) It's not my blog! It was written by Nick E. About the Soma Gator bar, I understand it has MTB diameter hence the Eagle trigger shifter should work , I believe. But I think the cable routing will stick out in an interesting way. However I use barend shifters myself ( racheted friction type...

Why are new bikes so heavy?

One other disadvantage I find with rim brakes besides the effects of water and road grime in wet conditions is that on my home built MBB , it rubs against my legs slightly at the front wheel. Given, this depends on the bike design, seat position, rider's pedaling style e.t.c but it can be...

Why are new bikes so heavy?

25.8 lbs for an alloy recumbent with disc brakes and pedals is not bad at all! I wonder how low it can get with a climbing wheelset and 1x drivetrain? Can it get to 22 or 23 lbs? When I first built my homemade MBB, it weighed more than 19Kgs (41lbs). Funny how our perception of weight changes...
