This. The new headrest I am not sure would work at all with the stock seat, as It likely would not be able to have enough extension to be useful on the stock flat back seat.

I just added it above - on a whim "just to see" what it would be like. It worked, but again is not the actual intended use of that plate (which is for the stock seat only in design)

I did this for a few days on BRAG and liked it, but I also had been riding it without it for months before.

I used the stock extension plate on BRAG just to see what is would do for a bit extra extension for those of us with the large backsides. It isn't intended or meant to be used in that was and wasn't considered as a functional piece tot he design of the new seat. It was a spur of the moment...

Not likely either - the head tube on the V20c is oversize. This was a requirement to make a fork and front end strong enough. There will not be a carbon front end retrofit for the older bikes as you can't change the established head tube size, and the development of the new from as oversize head...

Not likely to happen anytime soon.
