    S30 disc 'fast' driven-wheel recommendations.

My last wheel build used Velocity Ailerons with 32h drillings and a powertap hub. It worked fine, but the consensus seems to be that they'd be considered slow. Okdokie-- time to splurge on 'fast'. So, I'm looking for recommendations for an aero wheelset (well, really driven wheel) for someone...

    New TiGr lock?

Looks like a kickstarter is going on for a new TiGr-mini lock. It is a bit larger than the one that Cruzbike sells. I have no idea, since I haven't had the mini, if a slightly larger TiGr will be better or not... Anyway, kickstarter is here.

    Tiltmaniac's (suspended front, 2015) S30

Well, I finally collected pictures of my S30 build and stuff during my tour. Gallery is here, including pictures of the two seat angles one can easily get with the seat I chose (Volae Comfort Carbon XL), pictures of packing the S30, how it looked on tour, and some pretty shots from the tour...

    New S30 pictures?

The revision to the Silvio S30's frame (e.g. triangular hole, weep hole, different base-plate) is, I think, very well done. It is a beauty that really deserves a photoshoot instead of just one image! Are there plans for that yet?

S30 buildup with Volae Comfort Carbon L seat.

To see the build, click the following link to go to the correct posting in this thread: S30 buildup with Volae Comfort Carbon L seat. I'm doing an S30 build for my dad, who, after seeing me tour the Silvio successfully up the whole east coast, decided he would take the plunge. As a reminder, I...

    Silvio front-chainstay aero mods?

Just curious if anyone has thought about or attempted front-chainstay aeromods for the Silvio? The flat carboyoke is about the worst aero profile one could have... If I had time to play with it (playing with other things, like trike stuff), I'd probably attempt to improve the aero there. On...

Atlantic Coast Epic Tour ride report

Sadly, this won't be much of a ride report given the number of days spent. I'm just not that loquacious :) Raw data: http://ridewithgps.com/users/479802 Filter on "East Coast Epic Tour", and you'll find 54 days worth of GPS traces. Impressions: The Silvio S30 did wonderfully on this trip...

Silvio S30 fits into 26x26x10 travel case

I bought a Co-Motion Copilot travel case, which is a soft-shelled travel case with 26x26x10 external dimensions. This means that it can be checked as regular luggage. I was amazed to find that I could fit almost all of a (*completely* disassembled) Silvio S30 with its wheels into it without...

    Lock for Silvio S30

I'll be touring shortly with my S30, and was wondering what locks people use with them. AFAICT, there is a hole in the rear triangle section in the frame that is likely designed for a lock. It looks like it'd be one lock for the frame and then one lock for the front wheel? I was looking at the...

Any front headlights mounted on the S30?

The Silvio 2.0 had two mounting tabs, but the S30 has only one. This means that the way people mount their front lights on the S30 must be different that it was for the 2.0. Anyone care to show-and-tell on how they mounted their front lights on the S30?

    S30 derailleur hangar

So, does the press-fit derailleur hanger press in and stay for you S30 owners?

    Components for a Silvio S30

I'm probably about to purchase an S30 for my tilting trike project (and if that fails, it looks to be a sweet ride anyway!). Now the question is about components: What components should I put on this thing? I'm looking for the widest gear range with a very low granny. To give...

Adding crazy tilt assembly... but to which frame?

Firstly, I'm posting in the Silvio forum because I'm thinking about <wincing> purchasing and then drilling</wincing> into a Silvio frame for this mod. I've designed a tilt assembly based on a swing-arm design. Why? Because I'm very out of shape and I'd like some help balancing when going...
