Very nice!

I rode a carbon frame for years, crashed a few times, never had a problem. It's surprisingly tough. But it's not titanium, of course. And my V rides inside the car with the other people. So no flights down the express way.

Just the thought of a carbon fiber Vendetta makes me drool.

How about a hot water bottle? They are pretty tough.

I found that I didn't have to wait very much since they were very quick at the stops. I also found that it gave me a chance to pull my feet off of the pedals every so often, which is a good thing when riding that many hours.

I found that the Vendetta turned me into a speed demon unexpectedly. But I do enjoy reading the tourist posts a great deal. I hope they aren't holding back because they aren't racers. If you're a tourist, please post your experiences. There is a place for everyone.

I like to blow by 10 DFs at a time at 30mph. Then I hide in the shadows until they blow past me. Then I buzz them again. I know, it's a cruel world.

I like the Large Topeak aero wedge pack myself. It fits my V well and holds everything I need.

Can you post a link to this type of cage? I'm not familiar with it.

Keep in mind that Gatorskins, while awesome for puncture resistance, are noticably different in rolling resistance. When I switched from Gatorskins to Conti 4000s, I could feel the difference before I got out of the driveway. But if you need puncture resistance, Gatorskins are great.
