    Stop the flop

I love this about Cruzbike: Discussion, possible solutions, more discussion, the company listens and whenever possible responds by meeting the needs of the Cruzbike Tribe. Other recent examples - foam wedge to try different shoulder / neck position, full-size shock absorber for Q45...

Cheapish rear shock comparison. Kind air shock dual V DNM 22 coil

And the Q45 shock is at a more relaxed angle. Vertical travel at the shock mount might be more like 22mm Qx100 47mm Q45

Cheapish rear shock comparison. Kind air shock dual V DNM 22 coil

I remember seeing the weights elsewhere however could not find them so I weighed the shocks I have for comparison. My kitchen scale is probably +- 10g but the relative weights of shocks should be pretty accurate - same digital scale, in same hard, flat location, weigh one then replace with...

Cheapish rear shock comparison. Kind air shock dual V DNM 22 coil

Notes to those changing the shock and/or adjusting the pivot on the QX100 (not sure if this applies to Quests or Q45): -When tightened down hard the bolts pinch the shock/pivot slightly giving a little friction to them so they do not move completely freely. It is very little and doesn't seem...

Cheapish rear shock comparison. Kind air shock dual V DNM 22 coil

@jond The new Q45 has a full-size 165mm shock so 40mm travel. I have the QX100 and the shock is a 125mm so only 20mm travel. I took a ride last night after doing the switch. It was my normal commute so I knew what to expect and when I got back the o-ring indicated 14mm of the 20mm total...

Cheapish rear shock comparison. Kind air shock dual V DNM 22 coil

I finally did my swap for my QX100 from the stock coil spring shock to the AR5. The stock shock was not functioning properly. I could not increase/decrease tension on the spring and it had a gap in motion from fully extended down close to 1 cm on the shock travel that it there was no tension...

2019 Ride the Blue Ridge for 3000 Miles to a Cure

(@LarryOz) Hey Mr. testing, Have you tested and quantified how much "the flag does not slow me down that much"? And, there are a few pictures of Jim and Maria's S40s without seat pads are they riding nude seats? Or swapping the pads out or something?

Or a smaller motor with the same torque. Or the same motor with larger torque. Any combination. Its a win-win. No where to go but for a ride.:D

S40 test ride in the San Francisco/Bay area?

You have my respect for making it work with a Sofrider. As for racers, they usually have every upgrade imaginable. Considering the different shapes and sizes of people I think it may be more feasible to offer the suitable Thor seat with a matched size as an upgrade over the standard one size...

    Stop the flop

Rhode Gear - So many wonderful companies are no longer around. I have a trunk rack from them. All the best ones seem to be copies of ones they invented or perfected. Back to the topic - @velocio how would the one you pictured by Rhode gear avoid the potential for locking your steering by...

    GONE - Silvio - $800 - Rockmart, Georgia

Calling Atlanta area Cruzbikers. Anyone want to check this one out for me? Seems like a pretty good deal if it is what it promises - older, good components, in good shape, but there is no way I can check it out from Ontario.

2019 Ride the Blue Ridge for 3000 Miles to a Cure

The reverse direction look like it would be even more interesting! Might have to sit on the handlebar to get a little traction  . Hmm, wonder if that would work? Unicycle with training wheel? (@trplay my mind keeps inserting the Moose theme here.)

@super slim @LarryOz Slim you beat me to it. I can't see the pictures either. I'm using an iMac and Safari. Maybe we just need to be donors.
