A tale of woe-- Sticky Bottles get Chicked again

I’m on the trainer, staring at the TV, trying to decide which wheels to run for the Zwift Team Time Trial. The Cruzbike Chicks have a stacked squad and are set to unceremoniously open up a can of kick-butt on Team Sticky Bottle. A few just got back from vacations and illness, looking positively...

    Tour De Macomb (TDM)

Hello Tribe Stepping Out Last year my riding changed. I'm not sure it was for the better. My bike sat on the trainer all summer. It did not get dusty or neglected. I steadily rode on Zwift and stayed in fair shape. One thing that I often hear is ”You need to get outside in the...

Old/cheap recumbent or frameset wanted. UK or Ireland. (sorted).

Not many UK or Irish people on here I know but I thought it was worth a try. I'm looking for a cheap recumbent or frameset for my indoor trainer. It's a tacx neo 2 direct drive. I'm 5'9", not too worried about condition and have all sorts of parts to build up a frame. My old road bike being...

    Learning to ride the S40

...such as Campagnolo Zondas would help the weight issue, but they aren't very aero at all. * I store my V20 in a room downstairs on a friction trainer. The Mavic CXR 60C wheels I keep on it are carbon fiber bonded onto aluminum rims so they would crack if I used them to hang on the wall. *...

Looking for a CruzBike in the Jacksonville, FL area

...Q45 for backroad rides and also the S40 model (if it is the one I can put equipment on). Ideally I would like to be able to put it on the trainer and interact with other riders. I do like a bit of competition! Which means I might invest in a Wahoo. I should probably be looking to clear...

Freerider for sale $170 Seattle area - great for indoor trainer bike!

I have a used Freerider for sale $1. I bought it several years ago to learn to ride Cruzbike. I think i rode it for 3 miles before I decided I like Cruzbike and got a S40. And it's been in the garage since then. The front derailleur doesn't work so really a 1x even though it has 2 front...

Seat angle and first real ride

Got my V20 in Oct. and used it on a trainer all winter. Made some modifications to the seat to allow me to adjust the angle to make it easier to use to bike on group rides. The photos give an idea of what I did, it is similar to some modifications shown in other post on the forum. A cable and...

    S40 on Wahoo Kickr Snap

...I also asked this question of the CB support folks. In the interest of making this info more accessible, here is Robert's reply. "Wheel-on trainers typically do not work with our bikes as the axle is nearly always too short to capture the entire front end. I can’t say for sure for the newer...

    S40 on Wahoo Kickr Snap

I have researched this question on this forum. Most answers tend toward the relative merits of a wheel-on trainer vs direct drive. What I want to know is whether or not a thru-axle S40 will work on a Wahoo Kickr Snap. Wahoo offers a thru axle adapter. Presumably, one would replace their...

For those who had hip impingement surgery (fai), are fully reclined bikes the way to go?

Not sure I can answer your question, but I developed pain in my left hip when riding my S40/V20 on my smart trainer until I added pedal extenders. No more pain since.

S40 not holding fit adjustment on smart trainer

...in place there? When I first got my S40 I put it on my Neo t2 with no problems. I assume you mean the boom extends while using it on the trainer? If so maybe loosen it off (and the BB clamps and axle) slip it out a bit and make sure it's all clean, dry and grease free before tightening it...

S40 not holding fit adjustment on smart trainer

I tried putting my s40 on my kicker and while it fit and I could ride it wouldn’t hold the fit. It kept backing out such that the reach for my legs became too long and would hurt my hamstrings. I’m not terribly mechanically inclined but there seems to be only one screw holding the adjustment...

    Weight limit for Cruzbike's?

Just came across this post, I was trying to use my s40 for Zwift but it would not hold adjustment. You have any such issues or am I doing something wrong?

My Very First Recumbent is a V20

I'll try and get a video from the side Larry, probably while the bike is on the trainer.

Replace Q45 Shock with Metal Bar

...one (no shock). I'm reluctant to add more holes to the bar so may purchase another piece of bar stock in the future (inexpensive compared to a shock). Based on a trainer ride I'll also need to get a neck rest if I go any further back than my current position, so that's another thing to look into.
