Total Dropout Width of the Front Wheel on the V20

We have stock skewers in stock if you want to email support@cruzbike.com. They are a special length and usually off the shelf skewers for 135 hubs won't work. Also a lot of skewers vary in actual length by a few mm in my experience anyway. The total width of the front of the bikes has never...

Q 45 for sale in Iowa

If that rear rack is mounted to the rear swing arm it is not mounted correctly. Was this a warehouse sale bike originally? Rear Rack Install <iframe width="560" height="315" src="" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media...

    V20C - Prototype

This. The new headrest I am not sure would work at all with the stock seat, as It likely would not be able to have enough extension to be useful on the stock flat back seat.

New Adjustable Carbon Fiber Seat and Headrest for the Cruzbike V and S series

I just added it above - on a whim "just to see" what it would be like. It worked, but again is not the actual intended use of that plate (which is for the stock seat only in design)

New Adjustable Carbon Fiber Seat and Headrest for the Cruzbike V and S series

I did this for a few days on BRAG and liked it, but I also had been riding it without it for months before.

New Adjustable Carbon Fiber Seat and Headrest for the Cruzbike V and S series

I used the stock extension plate on BRAG just to see what is would do for a bit extra extension for those of us with the large backsides. It isn't intended or meant to be used in that was and wasn't considered as a functional piece tot he design of the new seat. It was a spur of the moment...

    Creaking front triangle

The grommets between the stay and the clamps are solely there as a reminder to not overtightened the bolts and to tighten them evenly by creating a default “gap”. The clamps must be tightened evenly as well - if they are tightened - for example - one side all the way until the surfaces touch -...

A second V20c build and ride impressions

Great assessment! This is pretty spot on to my thoughts when I was putting miles on the initial prototype V20C.

When is S40 going to get a carbon front end?

Ahhhhh-my bad. Definitely no worries there.

When is S40 going to get a carbon front end?

Not likely either - the head tube on the V20c is oversize. This was a requirement to make a fork and front end strong enough. There will not be a carbon front end retrofit for the older bikes as you can't change the established head tube size, and the development of the new from as oversize head...

When is S40 going to get a carbon front end?

Not likely to happen anytime soon.

    BRAG 2022

Larry, Indeed - should be a super fun ride I think with only the first couple of days presenting any kind of challenges. Looking forward to it! Ill be on an S40 for the ability to mix it up socially along the way. Has anyone seen the stats anywhere on the total number if riders? I saw...

    BRAG 2022

So - has anyone studied the google earth of the route to make any assessments/predictions? It looks like there is elevation but never any sustained elevation or really steep climbs. As a guy used to 13 mile sustained 6% climbs and subsequent loooong steep downhills this can be good and bad haha...

Help me decide: s40 or v20

If you plan on camping and carrying any amount of gear that equals more than a Scarab bag - an S40 is the only real option. The V20 is like a time trial bike - it is not designed or intended to haul panniers or any other amount of gear other than the usual stuff to support a race run. The S40...

    V20C Brake Lever Adjustment

Hey all - if you are awaiting your V20C and/or are adjusting it, I wanted to put out this note that I went over briefly in the assembly video but wanted to reiterate it here in a bit more detail. On some of the builds the levers were put too far down the curve of the bars. The result is a...

    Cruzbike C.G. or Weight Distribution

There is no hill I have really "slipped" on that I could also climb up on a RWD without the rear end washing out anyway - or that I couldn't actually climb because the particular bike I was on wasn't a good climber to begin with - so IMO the slippage on a hill is a moot argument for clean dry...

    First ride - questions

Great progress! I find the biggest issue when initially learning is getting too agressive and overthinking the grip on the bars. Relaxed and light (but controlled) is the key. Like has been mentioned once you realize that - the rest starts to come easy and you can use that upper body input to...

When is S40 going to get a carbon front end?

This is very highly unlikely to happen - FYI. And also no backwards compatibility here with any old frames of any model - the new front end is 100% it's own thing - along with the changes that had to be made to the main V20 frame (namely the tapered head tube with much larger lower bearing.)
