    Alternative Bars on Q45

Stay tuned ya'll as we have things in the works in this regard. Not likely for several months, but for sure in the future.

    Q series wheel sizes?

They are 135 hubs. Looking at the pics I imagine you could dish that wheel over a bit and be OK. I wouldn't recommend that though without a truing stand. Robert

    Q series wheel sizes?

Is there clearance on the other side of the stay? The wheel just might be dished a bit off to one side more than the other. Those are some big tires for sure. Wider rims might help the profile of the inflated tire to fit better. Also the springs do nothing on the front of a CB - if you put...

    S40 Seat Adjustment - Steps

Definitely emphasize individual small adjustments once you have a good general fit. Only make one change at a time and wait fro several miles before assessing whether or not it was helpful. For arm reach - a good position will lead to a lot of power on tap if you want it, but an off arm...

    Fenders for 2020 S40?

Sadly, yes the 2020 fork has less room than we all wanted for fenders in the 700c. The crown was changed to better match the head tube all in trying to keep the seat as low as possible for dual 700c - and it ended up a bit too tight with a 30c tire. But definitely if you spring for 650b the...

Don't let a data freak into biking

I think I need another cup of coffee to figure out what my brain just saw up there. :-)

Any Tall Guys out there (like 6-4 plus) riding the Q45??

Cool. I know Jim has made his lengths pretty custom on his race bikes to shave that small bit of weight. In general though I don't recommend any cutting except for short riders - and then only cutting enough to make the inward adjustment. Ideally the more tube overlap the better for overall...

Any Tall Guys out there (like 6-4 plus) riding the Q45??

PSA for everyone utilizing the scales on top of these booms and sliders: Note that the relative position of these numbers is pretty pointless for a "universal" measurement as the etching on the tubes has moved over time and on different models. As we have come to use the same boom and slider...

S40 Question about Seat / Headrest / Turning

For a small amount of $ send an email to us at support@cruzbike.com and Marianne will hook you up with a set of the headrest tube/pad that comes with the bike. We have spares. The stock headrest setup on the S40 is pretty good for most people. Take a look inside the headrest holes at he top of...

Chain jump/slipping when increased pedal force used

Here is a good basic adjustment video. Youtube has several for sure. Note that there is a fine balance to adjusting a derailleur and usually adjusting one thing can impact another and the order of the adjustment is really important:

Chain jump/slipping when increased pedal force used

Also, ensure that the chain stay to boom interface is centered. Sometimes those clamps can be a bit loose and the stay it not nice and centered on the BB shell.

S40 Question about Seat / Headrest / Turning

Congrats on your S40! With some practice you will be riding like a pro. -The extender is for the front of the seat - to extend it if needed for a bit more of a platform for your butt to rest on. -I have never had an issue with the position related to the seat/main tube being close to the...

    Flat

Very good points. Also I have seen people go down as when they get a flat tire they seem to just physically cave and turn into a noodle and let the bike go down. Awareness is key and you have to be mentally and physically in control of the bike at all times, especially when you are going to be...
