    Let the V20 build begin

Many here have hit the points Many here have hit the points that need to be made, but definitely this is a mod that as a company we cannot support. Looking at that second picture in post #63, you could have possibly used a single thinner spacer on top of the pivot clamp - and just...

    Components for a Silvio S30

Rick, I have about the same Rick, I have about the same experience. I also find that the bikes feel better and handle better with the bigger chainrings and wider range cassette (when needed) as opposed to mini granny rings.

    Components for a Silvio S30

Triples are way overkill on Triples are way overkill on the low end for Cruzbikes and not necessary - that has been my experience. You can only gear a two wheeler so low anyway. People sometimes want to gear these like they are trikes. Very confusing. :-) I can always spin a higher...

    Let the V20 build begin

A big factor in the "turning A big factor in the "turning freely" are the bearings themselves - some spin way more freely than others. I have had people with old square taper cranks complain when we install a new BB because they "don't spin as freely as their old cranks" but the old ones only...

    Let the V20 build begin

I have not built a V or S I have not built a V or S where the BB needed to be faced - the anodized surfaces are very flat and the process does not add any gunk to the surfaces. If they end up painted however, then yes it is a good idea to face them to ensure nice even surfaces. Here in Portland...

    New Silvio Owner advice needed

Sandy, All great advice here. Sandy, All great advice here. - The results are well worth the patience as anyone here will attest. Also pay attention to the setup - I dialed your bike is according to your measurements but over time you may find that tweaking the pedal reach/handlebar...

    Incredibly Stable Recumbents

Just a heads up, We have Just a heads up, We have Ventisit comfort cushions in stock. I absolutely love mine. They can be a "like it or not" thing. For me I had to add the stock foam from the OEM cushion (not the dense one just the filter) and it is perfect. It looks awesome too...

    Let the V20 build begin

Ah yes that was the last Ah yes that was the last weekend before I had it repainted. :-) For those interested the paint code for the V20 is YS-751. It is a Metallic. There is of course never a guarantee of a 100% match.

    Incredibly Stable Recumbents

I will agree - once you have I will agree - once you have some good training miles under the belt a Cruzbike is about as stable a platform I have ever been on - other than just standing on a platform. HA! This last Cycle Oregon there was one section of climb - about 5-6% grade and it was...

    Let the V20 build begin

Kiwiguy - That is an early Kiwiguy - That is an early version 1 Vendetta that I had repainted. It is actually a different red than the V20. I only had the boom and frame redone - it is the old slider and fork. Robert

    Let the V20 build begin

paint While I agree that the painted boom on the last version is awesome, the new slider and boom is not suited to paint as easily. The last V painted boom was fixed - nothing slid against it. The new boom goes inside the slider and if it were paint would scratch easily. The slider is designed...
