Paris or bust ... probably bust

Congratulations Mike. I thought you were crazier than me when I read your first post. (That's something I would commit to.) So proud of you for the journey, its been fun watching your progress. The "tribe" on this forum is extremely helpful! Can't wait for the mandatory pictures. Good luck...

    Community Jersey preferences

Maybe the color options are the current cruzbike model colors. Red, orange, black/white, and the screaming yellow for posterity. Oh and don't forget to make it with Kevlar for Larry's KOM's.

    Community Jersey preferences

I would buy one of each. I love the tribe concept as well as the Australian integration. It probably should include Charles "picture mantra" in a subtle way. Lol.

Larry! Going around a curve at 50+ mph? I'm not worthy I'm not worthy (bowing to you). Wow. For sure don't show Mrs Oz.

    Packing a V20

Robert speaking of the box. Do you ever re-use them? Or recommend it? Not sure what to do with mine and hate to dump it in the trash.

First and second flat, same ride

Oh my! Good advice. I haven't had a flat yet (fingers crossed) and going on a big trip in June so I'll be practicing the wheel removal. Pretty lucky to have a guy bring out a floor pump - how ironic is that?

    UMCA Across Washington N to S - 2015

Great Job Lief!! I live in South Western Idaho and the wind was BRISK Saturday. I was hoping, during my ride, that it wasn't as windy for you. However that doesn't sound like the case. Great job, and know you also had someone rooting you on in Idaho.

    Silvio let loose

Thanks go to Robert for the build! Yes it's a beautiful thing. Clips went on last night, and the hills are much easier, the knees are happier, but the new muscles used are showing their disapproval today. Blinky tail light added battleaxe! The mouthpiece fell off of my camelback apparently...

    Silvio let loose

My new Silvio was let loose on hills today and did a fabulous job! Pic's of it's first ride and the treat of a lake view (which doesn't show up well) :D. It's rider is sore and tired. I signed up for a week long tour in late June so I'm riding out of pure fear right now. Silly girl signed up...

I'm in love I'm in love and I don't care who knows it.

My Saturday morning ride with the Sofrider. Still practicing in and around subdivisions with the Silvio, feeling surprisingly stable. :D However, I can't seem to keep my helmet from moving almost over my eyes on the Silvio headrest. How do I solve that?? Don't really want to buy a new helmet.

I'm in love I'm in love and I don't care who knows it.

Thanks everyone. First Silvio ride is complete. The first 10 minutes I wondered what in the world had I done! My sofrider was fine, why was I so greedy buying the Silvio too? The seat angle was quite a change but I went back to the school parking lot and starting with step one, adjusted the...

I'm in love I'm in love and I don't care who knows it.

A scene from Elf that runs through my mind as a new sofrider owner. But even more exciting - my new Silvio is arriving TOMORROW. Yep, I'm a convert. Took pics of all my other bikes/trike tonight and listing them on Craig's list tomorrow. I bought my sofrider in early February and if you...

    Q-Rings, input please

Thank you for the feedback. Sadly I bent the 48T chainring on my sofrider in a very very slow motion sideways tipover. First day with my clipless and a MBB. So, I thought since I need a new chainring anyway, I'd look into Q rings. However should I be changing from the 48/34 to a 52/34? I...

    Q-Rings, input please

After Jim wrote his article on his latest climbing setup, I've noticed quite a few people using Rotor Q-Rings. Are they really worth the money? What benefits have you found using the Q-rings?

    Tubes for the sofrider 26x1.25

Thanks Thanks everyone for the suggestions. Today I ordered tubes that will work with slime, bought tube liners/protectors, put my back rack on. Before I buy tougher tires I will see how this modification works. I'll probably get the Schwalbe marathons as suggested.
