Looks to me as though the slotted ends would bolt to the bottom of the back and the other end to the seat pan

Sofrider front end on custom frame

I am using a Sofrider front end on a custom frame and need to shorten the steerer quite a bit. How far up does the suspension unit go and can I cut it and remove the suspension bits?

How often do you fall off? I do not remember the last time I needed to see a doctor so I will keep riding.

But the "amazingly wide field of view" of the Ultralite mirror can be annoying when heading east and the sun is low or following vehicles have too-bright lights.

Perhaps the Zefal Spy mirror has been improved in recent years but I found them to be optically inferior to others such as the Busch & Muller Cycle Star or Mirrycle mirrors.

A Rohloff hub will give you 14 gears: very reliable, but not cheaper or lighter. 1 x 11 or 12 setup works well.

I know someone with the low-speed model which sounds as though he has an electric motor when riding near him. I hope the sport model is quieter.
