    Oval Chainring for S 40

After a deeper dive and checking options, I've discovered the chainring listed on the Gen 5 S 40 is not 110 BCD as advertised. Compatible chainring replacements have a 104 BCD (center to center of bolt) measurement. The 110 listing incorrectly adds 3mm from each bolt of a 104 center chainring...

    Oval Chainring for S 40

I understand above geometry. It appears ROTOR does not have a symmetric 4 bolt Oval ring on their website for a 1x ring. Most all options are for a 2 chainring crank which I do not have. R2-bike may have what I'm looking for but it is difficult to drill down their options to find the correct...

    Oval Chainring for S 40

I have a Gen 5 S 40 with standard Driveline Crankset 165mm with 42T 110mm Narrow/Wide Chainring. I am looking to replace with oval ROTOR chainring 42 or 46T but have not found one that fits the chainset holes of the Driveline. I'm not able to get any help from ROTOR.UK and Universal 110x4 Oval...

    Iconic Silvio 2.0 for sale

The original 2.0 angle was ~ 28 degrees. I think this is closer to 32-34 degrees with conversion. A chainstay extender can be added to accommodate your longer x-seam; the MBB should not be an issue. I run 700X28 tires with 80 psi; would see no problem with weight if you drop to around 70 psi.

    Looking for an S40

Paul- If the S40 remains for sale, I am interested. I ride a Silvio with a short chainstay so would remove it. If you could send pixs, identify drivetrain, seat (?Ventiseat) and tire type I would be interested in shipping (Indiana) if bike cost is acceptable. You can send via text if easier...

Has anyone replaced the standard drivetrain with a Rohloff internal hub and rim assembly using a S40 frame set? I am interested in how the 2 cable system is routed from handlebar to frame. Was the rim a special build?

Has anyone dismantled a Silvio Kindshock fork?

GG53: The price given accessories seems OK if frame in good shape and rims are true. The front suspension is not a big deal if Kind shock stills holds a pressure level. If not, unsuspended fork will have about an inch of travel over bumps and potholes. Doesn't really affect steering and...
