I think that there is no need to make the boom pivot above the stem. The fork is the element in the front triangle that changes it's length when the suspension compresses. The boom remains rigid and the carbon fiber chainstay flexes to compensate for the retractation of the fork.

angular gears are by far less efficient than a chain transmission. the grease / wax problem left aside, a chain drive is the best, lightest and most efficient transmission for a bike

you are not alone. This happened to me 2 or 3 times. Mainly on steep hills where I lost balance.

Although I'm not implicated in this issue, I think there is nothing wrong with it. As I wrote earlier: Great to see people working on product improvement / modification. The sliders/front ends are not available separately for the V or the S. If they where, it could be interresting for Silvio 2...

I don't know if a lower bottom bracket helps for balance. A more upright seat position would help for sure. I mesure 5'9'' only and ride with a 100mm chainstay extension, and 150mm cranks. I couldn't try my new short cranks on the road, but when riding on rollers they feel ok.
