Those booms are from the pinned build thread, not mine! I still can't afford such a nice bike! Although, living in Chico, I might be tempted to check your bikes out some day, as Redding isn't very far. I bet someone will manage to get it onto a Quest as well. ;)

Optimized boom The boom now has its thicker section at it's pivot, and no cutouts. It probably is stiffer than the original fat one. That, and greater adjustability will make it faster. The outer sleeve of the new boom vs the inner sleeve of the old boom may actually be very similar...

Very elegant! This would work well on the Vendetta too, for those who want a rigid bike. It has a perfect place for a water bottle! actually, I think water and bags are better under the seat if they are any substantial weight. But this looks really cool, and would keep the aero.

Did you ride the Wildflower? I live in Chico, and am quite surprised I am one of only a few recumbent riders here. Not a Cruzbike, but a Performer highracer. I did not manage to get on the Wildflower ride this year. I might ask to see your Silvio in person one of these days. ;)
