Can the geometry be adjusted enough that the cockpit is not overly tight? The seat would need to lay back all the way, I suppose. I realize that the fork and chainstays are also quite different, and would need to change as well.

Check out that bottom bracket headset! Looks like it needs the offset of the crank-arms there to get the front hub in a usable location, and for wheel clearance. The riding position actually looks pretty good, but don't let that tire hit your leg. I like that on a Cruzbike your legs are above...

Those booms are from the pinned build thread, not mine! I still can't afford such a nice bike! Although, living in Chico, I might be tempted to check your bikes out some day, as Redding isn't very far. I bet someone will manage to get it onto a Quest as well. ;)

Optimized boom The boom now has its thicker section at it's pivot, and no cutouts. It probably is stiffer than the original fat one. That, and greater adjustability will make it faster. The outer sleeve of the new boom vs the inner sleeve of the old boom may actually be very similar...
