HubDock Quick Release Rear Wheel: Would this work on a Cruzbike?

Patents You can patent a "novel invention" and that is what most people think about as a patent. You can also patent an "improvement" on prior art. It is less secure as others can find other ways to get around the problem but other patents on the methods and methods of manufacture can still be...

    Tyre update

Thanks John, I am a little Thanks John, I am a little averse to lower the pressure too much as there are some nasty bike paths around here with really sharp edges. I guess I am asking if anyone has some experience fitting different tyres with a little more tread and perhaps a 28 size...

    Tyre update

Hello all from warm Melbourne. I wanted to get an updated opinion on tyre options that people suggest for my Silvio 1.0. I have 700C wheels currently shod with Cintinental Gatorskin 25s. I ride about 30% road, 65% bike tracks (that cane be really rough) and 5% gravel tracks. The Gatorskins...

See this See this thread: http://cruzbike.com/locking-cruzbikeshttp://cruzbike.com/locking-cruzbikes I like the TIGR lock that you can see in the pictures. Until I get one I use an Abus cable lock designed for motorised bikes: and one of these for the bike helmet:

    Which Pedals For Silvio?

Ken, Just to be clear, the Ken, Just to be clear, the Shimano pedals I use have an spd cleat on one side only, The other side is a stainless grippy platform. This works really well. The [platform part looks means but doesn't damage shoes and it is quite easy to flip them to choose to clip in...

    Which Pedals For Silvio?

I use Shimano PD-M647 SPD I use Shimano PD-M647 SPD Dual Platform Pedals. They are probably a little more weighty than some but they are strong and spin nicely. These give me the option of wearing normal shoes or sandals for short rides or cleat shoes for longer rides.

Silvio Bike Computer suggestions: any problems with wireless?

Hi Bob, I have a Silvio and Hi Bob, I have a Silvio and use a Garmin Edge 900 with wireless cadence and wheel rotation sensor. It wotks perfectly. I think that you are missing the fact that the Silvio is a FWD bike and the sensor if put on the front wheel carbon fork to detect the front...

    Mirror for Silvio

Hi, Mickjordan, your mirrors Hi, Mickjordan, your mirrors mounted on the wrong side. ;-) Frankly, where I ride I would not be wothout a mirror. Victoria is running campaigns to get motoricts to give people on bikes a 1 meter berth. It is not working so a bit of notice before a close...

    What was your last bike?

Fast Giant I did not ride for some time due mainly to disappointment in humanity! My last bike was a Giant DF hybrid I had about 2 years ago. It cost about $800 and I can't comment on it's performance as it lasted just over 22 hours. I bought it one Friday night and rode it 10km into...

    Cruzbike tandem?

Why Hi, The guy on the front looks like he would be launched the first time the brakes were applied. It should be easy to fix any of the issues with that bike. First, get a Cruzbike. Second, get another one. Go riding. Seriously though, maybe I don't have enough friends...
