    New Silvio Logo Looks Sharp!

I know it's silly, but it is amazing how the new logo on the Silvio enhances it's looks. Matches well with the American Classic wheelset too. Nice job by the design team! Well done!

Getting Ready for a Test Ride of the Silvio 2.0

Well, Vite Bikes has sold all but one Silvio! So I am crossing my fingers that it will still be there for a test ride in a few weeks. John Schlitter said they may not get any more in for a couple of months. Here is hoping, as there are not test rides in Arizona!

    Silvio Seat Pads

Hi all! i have a Silvio 1.0 and wonder if there has been any improvement in the seat pads as far as thickness. I am now able to ride just with the Cruzbike pads and no additional padding, and my backbone is getting bruised. thanks! Lisa

Making the Quest Easier to Pack

Hi Everyone, I just purchased two Bike Friday SatRdays V2.0, and am amazed how easy it packs. One thing I think that could help the Quest for packability and knee clearance is a split butterfly/tweener bar that is on my BF bikes. The handlebars remind me of butterfly wings in their shape...

    More Test Sites For Cruzbikes?

I am wonderingif there is a plan to get more Cruzbikes at bike shops so people can test ride them. It seems to me that sales could potentially improve if this were the case. Another thought is this. A road trip. On the MacNichol Guitar forum, they do road trip guitars. You pay $35 and...

    What's Your Crank Length?

I am really curious if anyone is experimenting with different crank lengths on the Silvio. For six years I have been running 150s on my Ti Aero, and 155s on my other recumbents. Then enters the Silvio with the 170 cranks and they have bee working really well! Maria apparently runs 172.2s...

Silvio 2.0 and 27 Degree Seat Angle

I have put my seat to 30 degrees on my Ti Aero. Two rides and it is bothering my neck. When I heard the news today that the seat angle on the new Silvio is 27 degrees, I honestly wanted to cry! Those of us with herniated discs in our neck know all too well that an upright position fairs...

How About Offering A Road Component Pkg for the Quest?

Ok, I really like what Nanda has done with his Quest set up...road handlebars and components. It would really be nice to have two component offerings for this bike. I guess the limiting factor "might" be packability? But you could split the road handlebars, so they would fit nicely in a...

    Adjustable Stem for the Quest?

Sounds like for some that a longer stem is needed to avoid knee bump. What are folks installing for an adjustable stem? thanks!

Food & Drink on Long Rides

I go out regulary for 40 plus mile rides, and learned when I did a Century ride a couple of years ago, that nutrition on the bike is very important. It's trial and error. I have a lot of food allergies, so am limited to my choices. That being said, everyone will enjoy Bonk Breaker protein...

    Upgrading Program for New Models?

One forum member made a great suggestion on the blog. Cruzbike is in the unique position of creating new versions and models. And selling an older model will be difficult with many improvements. I think it would be great if Cruzbike could offer an upgrade program. what do you think?

    Elliptical Chainrings and Gearing

Based on Jim's response on BROL, he and Maria are running elliptical chainrings on their race bikes. Jim, what exactly is your set up? I am curious what other folks have for setups as well. Thinking ahead to my new set up on my Silvio 2.0!!!

Is the Quest Also up for a Redesign?

With the Silvio now getting a new look, I am wondering if the Quest may also get a revamp. It seems the curved nose on the Vendetta and Silvio are creating a brand look for Cruzbike. A great look!
