    Something better than hose clamps?

FD I'm still waiting for a 34.9 mm front deraileur from my LBS but I will continue to practice the changeover till it arrives. Doug - You said "Try putting a small kitchen knob on the seat screws. You might need to change the screws to 1/4 inch to match the knob's thread, and make the...

    Something better than hose clamps?

Video A video sounds like a good idea for me as well. Rather than 20 - 60 minutes hour I'll probably use a time lapse to keep it under 3. Does anyone have a Cruzbike conversion video out there?

    Something better than hose clamps?

No screws The bike I convert can't be damaged as it will be reversed at the end of my vacation. I've practicing the conversion and I have the time down to less than an hour. The hose clamps get chewed up after a few uses but they're not that expensive so I'll just bring a couple of extra...

    Quest 2.0 in a suitcase - questions

Travelling case? Hi Kim Pictures would be good. Aslo the brand / model of luggage you used. Travelling with a kit and one wheel already switched to the long shaft would make conversions go very fast!

    First ride on first conversion

Stand Thanks! I turned the wheel to the right as Charles suggested and ... yes ... a regular kick stand works. Hm!

Can someone post a picture of the front cassette derailleur attached?

The conversion instructions have one picture of the front drive system from the left side! You can't see how the derailleur is attached. In fact, the instructions don't even say to install one! I assumed it was through the threaded hole but not all derailleurs are set up that way and besides...

    Conversion time?

How fast can a dual suspension mountain bike be converted to a Cruzbike with their kit? I'm in Atlantic Canada. I'll be flying to Florida next spring. If I took just the kit, bought a Wally world bike, converted it to a Cruzbike, rode it for 10 days, converted it back and donated the bike, it...
