Power vs HR and what power meter

sounds great! As an engineer, I can imagine a couple of ways to achieve this, one maybe would be replacement chainstays or perhaps some sort of screw in cups that can take a 30mm bottom bracket. Or a combination of both. Clearly the vendetta clamping on the bottom bracket cups is a solution...

    Wahoo KICKR trainer

my bkool trainer and vendetta creep slowly backwards across the floor, I need to secure it to the floor I think! also tempted to do the suspension rope from ceiling thing for the back wheel to see if that provides a more natural feeling on the trainer.

The Low Down on Carbon Bike Tech.

Lack of ductility is the problem. But given the weight advantages, there is surely a case for investing in tech to improve that. my vendetta frameset seems pretty heavy, never had it stripped down to weigh, but read on a french website that the fork, chainstays, boom, main frame and seat are...

Why didn't I think of that.

left PEDAL has left hand thread. right pedal has right hand thread. Bottom bracket is the other way around. Left side is right hand thread (undoes anti clockwise). Right side is LEFT hand thread. undoes clockwise. write it on a tag and cable tie it to the pedal wrench

Cargo capacity successes, attempts, and ideas thread.

the tennis racquet bags look great! Added bonus is that when not on the bike and carrying them around they aren't all "wierd biker person" chic as panniers usually are.

Hard case storage box under the seat

Nice box. But I think your vendetta has caught some sort of bike pox. Don't scratch them.

First Impressions of the Big Yellow Vendetta V1.5

have you still got the bike computer mounted assymetrically? I mounted my powertap little yellow computer right in the middle, with long cable ties going to each side of the handlebar clamp. Looks much better!

    questions about power meters?

I bought an old yellow powertap hub (wired type) with yellow head unit. They come up pretty cheap on ebay (wait for an auction, avoid buy it nows), then build yourself a nice wheel. The yellow head unit talks nicely with golden cheetah software for downloads and all the data analysis you can...

Anyone ever use a trailer with their Vendetta?

A trailer on a vendetta??? Sacreliege! I'm sorely tempted to "report" your post! :-) I can see the motivation though, carrying more than a banana on a vendetta is tiresome (excpet perhaps with radical designs bananaracer panniers or similar?)

    Robert's V20 build

since the v1 frame is totally stripped, do you know how much it weighs? I'm thinking of a long term project of reproducing my v1.5 frame in carbon and wonder what the possible reductions are (without going through the pain of stripping down my frame including removing crankset).

Using a Vendetta with an indoor trainer PROs & CONs

https://www.biketrailershop.com/bob-trailer-quick-release-p-1249.html I have a vendetta 1.5. the dropouts are thicker than the current vendettas, and getting a correct length skewer was a real pain. I bought a 160mm size skewer for bob trailer from the bike trailer shop (US$26 see link). Then...

    getting boom length fit correct

Jon, interestingto hear your similar experience. The final adjustment i did last night is too short i think, so maybe i'll back it out 5 or 10 mm tonight. With the boom too long, i wonder if utilization of the muscles which can do work as the ankle flexes would be reduced. a question for the...

    getting boom length fit correct

When my short legged brother in law visited, i changed my vendetta 1.5's boom length but marked the old position. When i refitted it back afterwards, i checked the heel to pedal fit and found my existing position was much longer than it would be for my heel toreach the pedal with a straight...

Test ride in Melbourne? (Silvio or small vendetta)

Hi, My brother in law's legs are way too short for my medium vendetta. Anyone have a silvio 2 or s20, or small vendetta in / near Melbourne, Australia and willing to help arrange a test ride? Andrew has four fused vertebrae and can't ride his DF more than an hour without a break. He's a very...
