Just finished my “build” of my S40 - using my high-end components off of a road bike that my neurosurgeon said I would never be able to ride again. Well, hopefully once I get over the intimidation and fear of riding this style of bike, I will be golden. I have to say I am having problems even coasting and Fred Flintstoning, but I will master this.
Nice looking bike. What was you riding before? I am in a similar situation as I can no longer ride my TT bike. I have been looking at the S40 and V20. I am still unsure which would be best. I hope you have a long future on your new ride.

I was riding a full carbon Kestrel road bike that I had customized everything but the frame and seat post - SRAM red e-tap electronic - Absolute Black oval chain rings - integrated drop bars - the works. I wasn’t about to give those components up, and I knew selling the bike would be an exercise in futility. I chose the S40 simple because of the more upright positioning from the V20 - I watched a video of a semi-pro rider on a V20 for the first time and saw how flat and difficult a time he had, and that helped make my decision. I still haven’t gotten enough miles under my belt on my S40 to honestly say it was the “best decision”, but I am fairly certain it is going to be great. And, I know I am not experiencing the neck pain and numbness I was experiencing from the road bike and the pinched nerve in my neck.
Good luck with your decision - I know I am very impressed with the Cruzbike staff and owners - they are very down-to-earth and helpful and genuinely concerned about adding riders to their “family”
