I'm selling my 2018 gold V20 vendetta.
It's a fabulous bike, but the reality is I just don't ride it as much as I do the S40. Turns out I'm more of a carry stuff / touring guy than I am a speed demon.
The bike is is very good condition, and has never been laid down or crashed. Now, in the time I've owned the bike I have experimented with lots of goodies which will be included in the sale (I just gotta remember where I stashed them all!)
These include:
Curved slider handlebar tube
Long chain stay (in addition to the standard one that's already installed)
Radical design seat bag
2 Adem headrests (Short and Long)
Adem seat mounted waterbottle cage mount
2 spare rear derailleur hangers
New (not installed) Perez seat clamp
Moose pack (never used)
Original bottle of Gold V20 touch up Paint
And 3 carbon fiber seats.
That's right, 3. Right now, the bike comes with a Thor Sport CF seat size large installed. I'm also including a brand new Thor Easy GS size large and the original V20 seat.
A word about the Thor Sport. This seat arrived damaged - nothing structural, just some bent areas along the edges that cracked a little during shipping. I had Dana at BentUp Cycles (a CF expert) look at it and he assured me that it was structurally sound and even offered to do the cosmetic fixes. But Greg at Thor, living up to his stellar reputation, sent me another seat at no cost. The problem was he sent me an Easy GS by mistake. Again, living up to his stellar reputation he allowed me to keep both seats. I was so grateful for the way he handled the transaction, I bought another seat from him and installed it on my S40.
All hail Greg at Thor!
All hail Dana at BentUp Cycles!
Anyway, while I was waiting for my replacement seat to arrive, I tried my hand a repairing the damaged seat (using a proper CF repair kit, advice from Dana and guidance from lots of Youtube videos).
Long story short, though ugly, the repair has held perfectly, no problem! But if you want to re-install the stock seat or the Easy GS (which has never been used) you'll have the option.
The crankset is Shimano 105 50/34 - 165mm. Pedals not included. The front and rear derailleur are Sram Rival. Rear cassette is 10 speed 11-36. I did not install disc brakes for the rear (which is Sram Force rim) and the front is Spyre TRP Hy/Rd (cable actuated hydraulic) disc .
Wheels are Vuelta HD in back and DT Swiss H500 up front. Tires are Conti Gator Skin 28mm w/ lots more miles left of them.
Oh and I also installed a stem extender which gave me more knee clearance for my freakish long legs.
The price is $2000.00 and my preference is to sell locally (I'm in southern California). If I do ship it's at buyer's expense and I prefer to have it done by BentUp Cycles where I purchased the bike.
I've very much enjoyed both my CBs and I'm happy to pass the Vendetta on to someone who will enjoy it as much as I have.
More pics for the interested.
