Neon Orange 2021 S40 for sale, like new condition, less than 300 miles since new in October 2021. This gorgeous bike is out of stock from Cruzbike.

This was built and purchased from Tim at Bent Revolution in Florida. It has every option: upper and lower racks, Ventisit seat, headrest, bags, bottle holders, etc., as I was hoping it would be my cross country, forever bent.

Reason for selling: health. I'm 69, and been riding a Catrike for 5 years following neck fusion surgery. I also have arthritis and spinal stenosis. Nevertheless, I wanted to give a two wheel bent a try, and fell in love with the design and look of this bike. In addition, I'm 5'7", but with the lower seat, I have no problems with bar clearance for starting and stopping. I had no issues learning to ride and always get attention when riding, but now with hip issues, I have to accept my limitations and be happy that I can at least ride a trike.

I will post pictures and a list of all components soon. I have over $6000 invested, and will consider reasonable offers. I'm in Ft Myers, Florida, and will drive a distance to meet you or deliver the bike.

Let me know your interest and we can start a discussion. Thanks for looking! Alan

Here's the math: 2021 S40 is $4650. Accessories total $800. Here's the list: Rear rack extended, under seat rack, Ventisit, adjustable headrest, headrest cage mount, 2 bottle cages, Origin 8 light stub, velcro strap, Click-stand, Cruzbike pannier set, sling bag, T-shirt (XL). Optional items $460: Ion pro RT/Flare RT bluetooth lights, Gamin Edge Explore.

As you can see, I was all in on this gorgeous bike. The sling bag sits nicely between the under seat rack for tools and supplies. Original foam set and headrest are included, never used.

Hi Alan, beautiful bike, is it a confidence thing or is the bike causing pain? I have similar health issues to you, I’m 5’5” tall, 64 yrs old .I will only ride my carbon home built MBB on quiet country roads, never in built up areas.
Following on from chengsun’s post though, going electric has been a game changer for me. very upright seat, low bottom bracket, double sided pedals so I can nip to the shops with out clipping in.
I’m even about to embark on a three day, 300klm tour , with the added reassurance that if I get wobbly on a steep hill ,which used to cause lots of anxiety , with traffic coming up behind me, I can just press a button and instantly gain speed and control.
Here is a pick of the homebuilt electric weapon.

Hi, and thanks for the replies! I've been on a Catrike for 5 years due to neck surgery, and a shoulder replacement 2 years ago. I've never had a 2 wheel recumbent, so tried the Cruzbike. No problems with riding and balance, though lots of practice needed for slow speed handling, and starting. A month in I developed hip pain, and now doing PT. Coincidence? Not sure...but my comfort level/confidence has gone down, and I've decided to accept my age and stay with the trike...
