Four Cruzbikers will be racing this year. Laura and John Crawford and I will be in the 24h. Maria Parker will be in the 6h. The 24h starts at 5pm Pacific Time on Friday, Nov 3. Bummer that Borrego won't even recognize recumbent in the top overall any longer.
They didn't like it when Jason was on the "overall" podium and had to make sure that never happened again.. How UCI of them! \
I rooting for Cruzbikes get highest Male and Female mileage overall regardless

Sadly Cliff had to pull out after 450 miles - heat related I'm told - I think Laura did too after something over 300.
Congrats to both of them. It is like riding in a over. I actually have a vaugue memories of riding through that area when riding in RAAM 6 years ago - it did feel like an oven - and all we had to do was ride through the area -

Indeed for Cliff it was heat related. For Laura it was knee related. It’s brutal out there y’all . John is still out there - he made the cutoff to get one more long lap in before the short laps start. Home stretch!
