It's as good a ride as everyone says it is, but I have another similar bike and can't justify keeping both. The bike is in excellent condition, save for a few nicks and rub marks from careless leaning against whatever. If I was going to replace anything, it would be the brakes - but you may have better luck coaxing adequate performance out of them than I did. I'm including a seat wedge for those who want an even more upright posture when learning to ride (please forgive the rodent nibbles along one edge - it was stored out in the shed).
