A Seat Angle Question - Vendetta versus Silvio

I've read several times throughout this forum that the "newer" Silvio and Vendetta share the same hydro formed frame. A quote regarding the carbon fiber seat found in Accessories, "The Carbon Fiber Seat will work with any hydroform frame Silvio or Vendetta version 2.0 and newer".

So, how are the different angles (28.7 degrees for the Silvio and 20 degrees for the Vendetta) of reclining accomplished? Is the difference found is the attachment methods, and if so, can the Silvio attachment method be used on a Vendetta?

The two frames are cut and welded onto the fork/headset area at a different angle. The rear stays are also different. Only the "core" aluminum tube that the seat goes onto is really the same.
