A simpler Silvio?

Regards the handlebar riser stalk elimination, I would try and use a fatter tube for the upper slider that can over the lower tube. It'll be stiffer at the headset junction. Maybe an existing recumbent tiller?

What is the outside diameter of the tube coming up from the bottom bracket?

"OD of tube coming from bottom bracket" of which are you after? I dont have a Silvio, but the Quest Q and QX100 is 1 and 3/8 inch. Not wanting to hijack this Silvio thread I am continuing my discussion of where im getting parts etc in the Q Brag Board on a new thread QX100 Steering Mod.

Stiffer and lighter. This is actually a very good reason to phase out the good old square taper for all this new confusing profusion.

The bike would be simpler and have a traditional rear rack. It would have seat braces and an adjustable seat angle.

A two wheeled prototype showed up in a different thread about their trike.

Kervelo seat looks too steep for me. Is it adjustable? It could be, with telescopic tubes at the back. I think the riding position, with the pedals so low, is really inefficient.
