A4x Frame Bag

Dumb question about the frame bag Cruzbike sent with my A4x order. What are those gray and black "strips" for? They feel like plastic of some kind inside them and they are gray on one side black on the other. They were inside the bag along with the 4 fastening straps.

Scratch straps with adhesive? (I have no idea, just a wild guess)
Mmm, just looked at the A4X page, unlikely… maybe protective layer to protect the paint from the fastening straps abrasion?

Yeah, could be. But there is no adhesive and they seem like an awkward size for that purpose. Oh well, I imagine it will become clear at some point.

They are the stiffener strips to add shape to the bag - they go on the inside. I have an install video on the YouTube but maybe it isn't live on there yet.
