Adjustable seat angle

Came across this very clever adjustable seat angle design! It affects the headtube angle but wow!

I would be winding it all the time. I would never be able to decide on the best angle.

I was thinking the opposite. I would use the infinite adjustability to find the perfect angle and then throw away the adjuster.
