Hello Folks, I tried Crank Bros. Candy pedals on my Cruzbike and I found that they were hard enough to clip in and out of that it caused the front wheel to jerk, and down I went--more than once. Is there a better choice? Would SPDs with the spring set for the lightest force be better. I'm open to all suggestions.

I have SPD pedals on mine, though one side works with normal shoes.

Our preference has been SpeedPlay Frogs. We have them on all of our recumbents. They are secure, but easy to clip in and out of.
