An S40 in China video number 2

I went to do a hill climb and improve my hill skills. This is how it went...
A shorter video but, I hope, a better edit. Improving on the bike and on the computer day by day ;)
Still loving the bike. Quote of another ride: “is that an electric bike?” after being passed... I slapped my legs in my best Chinese sign language ;)

Nice video! They editing is good and getting better and better. Now try a 3rd person POV camera mount position slightly behind your shoulder for more cool shots!
Thx! I don’t have a suitable mounting for that yet but it is on my mind to try. I’m also not fully comfortable riding one handed yet so there are several POVs yet to try with a selfie type stick or a mounting further away from the bike. I’ll try to work on the content and ‘story line’ too as these things can quickly become boring. I feel I would like to end up with an interesting video based in China that shows off recumbent riding and particularly Cruzbiking. I haven’t found much on the internet up until now. So there’s an opportunity!

It’s a cruzbike. Lol.

So many paths not open to cyclists and a guard too.

Thanks for sharing. Very interesting.

What is your helmet roger. ?

a GUB TT. I got it in Hong Kong but I now see it’s made where I live - in Shenzhen! I’m quite happy with it. Fits me well, is high visibility and a nice built in visor. The panels can be removed for ventilation.

Thank you for sharing Rodger, how many miles have you ridden the S40 so far? I have a little over 300 and have been working on hills. Keep it up.

About the same I think. 474km. I don’t have many hill options as many are closed to wheeled vehicles and the ‘big’ one is too tough for me at the moment. There’s a guy in Hong Kong who’s just put a 32x11-50 on his Q45 and he says he can go up anything without wheel slippage. So my next goal is to practice smooth pedaling to avoid wheel slip. I might need an easier gear to achieve that though. Currently 42x42. Add me on Strava: rhunderhill!
