My first part/package arrived
This really fun to install (not) - practically impossible to put sealant in because the foam liner blocks the hole of the valve which gets pushed right into it. I am still made over the mess I made in my garage installing it. I wish you luck and patience.

I "plan" on pouring it in, going to use the vittoria stuff the kit came with. But next time i will use "STANS" and that has to be poured in. And yes the new technology does scare me a bit but everyone says its worth it with the crappy roads up here.

Double check on Stans - Those inserts (and possibly the V tires) require Ammonia free sealant. Many sealants have ammonia in them as a preservative to help the latex stay good longer. Vittoria and Silca are the only two I found that are ammonia free - and Silca is so thick you have to pour it in for this initial fill.

I use Muc-Off or Vittoria multiway tubeless valves and Végétalex sealant which is biodegradable as well as plastic- and ammonia-free. Seems to work well, at least it has, so far, sealed minor holes.

Yes i relented for a variety of reasons.....SRAM brifter parts were available, if i ride my bike in the cold i will just take my older V20, i am introducing 3 other new technologies might as well introduce another. And their are some big hills up here in Wisconsin, maybe with these new types of brakes i will gain more confidence to pedal harder on descents.

One more question is what is the diameter of the handlebar stem? I am reading the other forums on handle bar choice but dont rememebr the diameter specifically being mentioned. Is it 31.8mm? I want to go with these that were linked in a previous forum.

or these

Ok purchased that bleed kit and a cutter, both OEM. Would a 200mm hose be long enough?
If you mean 2000mm (about 6 feet) It should be, but I don’t recall how much I used. I think the extra length required for the front of the V20 is due to the slider length. The hose normally used on the rear of DF bikes could be trimmed and used on your front, then the one you buy can fit the rear.
@Richard Mueller , do you remember what we did for yours?
