Assembled My New Quest But Have A Few Parts Left Over

My new quest arrived today and I have assembled it and am down to final safety checks. While I wait for the velcro to achieve a good "stick" to the seat pan, I figured I'd post this message to see if someone can tell me what these 3 extra parts are supposed to be for. As you can, hopefully, see below, one is like a giant O-ring and the other two parts are black metal spacers about 1/2" tall with a hole down the center. I saw no reference to these parts while assembling the bike, but the instructions were not exactly elaborate.

They're parts for the rack.

They're parts for the rack. The rubber ring stretches around its support arms to make sure they stay put and to stop any rattling.
The spacers fit into the seat back support, in place of the rack should you chose to remove it. You can see where they fit, in the second picture in the first post of this thread.
