At my wits end with the SRAM AXS Eagle 1x12 derailleur

Hi Black Hawk,
Sorry to hear about your troubles and very surprising as well. I have the mechanical 12-speed SRAM GX Eagle and it shifts immaculately. I'm using the standard (square taper) chainring that comes with the Q45. SRAM Eagle chain and SRAM Eagle 10-50 cassette. I've done a good 100 miles with that setup now including some challenging hills and have not had a single mis-shift.
Before this setup I tried the mechanical Shimano Deore XT m8100 12 speed and had similar issues that you reported - not reaching the largest and smallest cogs.
You do mention that you use the Rival cassette - as I understand SRAM Eagle is not compatible with anything so maybe the cassette is the culprit?

I was wrong in saying the cassette was Rival. It came with the mullet groupset. It is a SRAM GX Eagle cassette (10-52) with a GX derailleur and chain. The shifters and brakes are Rival but the drivetrain is all GX. Here's the group I bought from Pro Bike Supply:

I'll be moving my Shimano Ultegra DI2 group from my V20, where it works perfectly, to the Q45 next week. I ran the same group on my S40 with no issues. If it works on the Q45, I don't know what to say. If it doesn't, there's something wrong with the bike.
