Bar Mitts and Bar End Mirrors

A few weeks ago, I saw posted here a link to scooter bar mitts that were quite reasonably priced (~$16). The problem I had is that I have bar end mirrors and the mitts would interfere with that.

Purchased Bar Mitts for Silvio

Charles thanks for post on Bar Mitts...
I've purchased Bar Mitts for my Silvio. Haven't installed them yet as so far this winter it hasn't gotten cold enough here in Oklahoma to need them. Will post once installed and used.

but how will you practice no-hand riding?

Seems like bar mitts and riding no-hands just don't go together. Or you could kill 2 birds with one stone by putting your hands in your pockets! (Possibly 3 birds, if you crashed because of it).

More seriously, you might want to look at how I mounted the mirror on my Quest (see my post and link to pics on the Quest Brag Board page a couple of days ago). Instead of using the handlebar end, I mounted a bar-end inside the brake lever and connected the mirror to that. That would not compete with your mitts.

I did look at your pictures, but I never zoomed in to look at the mirrors until just now:

So

(1) With the fairing, you are much less likely to need bar mitts (although it depends on the coverage)

(2) You're right. The way you have the mirrors mounted, the wouldn't interfere with the bar mitts.

You've got yourself quite the setup. I'm jealous.
