Best for touring?

sofrider can take A LOT of luggage. A rear rack + a midrack. Some guy named Waldo? has a conversion where he even has 2 small panniers on his front fork. I can not see any problems with towing a trailer after a sofrider.
Silvio is different. Though there has been some pictures of a rear rack on a silvio, it has not always been a pretty solution. I dont think anyone has tried making a midrack for the Silvio, but i think that Cruzbike should do that, having a rack is a GREAT attribution that increases the value of the bike. To my knowledge the seat and mid part of the silvio is aluminium, so i think it is possible to make a midrack similar to the one i made for my Freerider. I can see some problems attaching a trailer to a silvio, unless you use one of those single wheel trailers.

I pretty much agree with what Jon says. I have a Burley trailer and with the alternate hitch, that attaches to the quick release, I think you could pull it. However, with the carboyoke being bolted to the main frame, I'm not sure it's a good idea to put that kind of load on the joint. Maybe John T could weigh in on this.
