Bimotal Electric Motor on a Cruzbike?

Hi all! I've been following a company called Bimotal for a little while now. They have a product called the Elevate (https://bimotal.com/products/elevate) that is a modular electric motor which works on any bike/wheel that has a disc brake mount. The price is wayyy out of my range for the foreseeable future, but it seems like it could be a good way to make any Cruzbike more commute-friendly in a hilly city such as Seattle. It's slightly under 10 pounds in total and has a relatively short range, but for serious climbs or short hills, it seems like it would be awfully useful. If you mount it on the rear wheel, it would give you all-wheel drive, too! Has anyone here seen these before, or thought about using one? For an all-in-one commuter recumbent, a motor like this feels like exactly the kind of thing that would help.

I don't see how this would be especially suited for a Cruzbike? Other than it would be compatible with through axles AND allow freewheeling, which is at least a rare combination.

Advantages:
- Can quickly be removed or put on, depending in the ride planned.
- Can easily be shared between multiple bikes. -> Can be cheap to convert many bikes.

Disadvantages
- Needs to fit on your brake mount. Brake adapters are confusing. (Putting it on Flat Mount would need additional adapters -> Stacking adapters is not generally recommended.)
- Needs a special and expensive (consumable part!) brake rotor. -> Only compatible brakes work. (And they need to fit under the motor.) And if ever the company does not exist anymore or doesn't make the old spare parts, your brake is just waiting for its end.
- Not fit for some regulations. Doesn't fit European pedelec classification, I don't know about others.
- Small battery
- Clunky look
- Seems easy to bend something when bumping it.
- Main parts are easily detachable -> easily stealabel (chances are low, that someone happens to come by, who know and wants)
- Unknown reliability / longevity.
- Not so cheap when it's for just one bike.
