Bristol and Back

First time I've cleared what for me is a long ride twice in the day. It's not actually started at my house, but close enough it makes no odds.
Key themes:

1. Bathford hill is [intensifier + adjective] steep and long, especially on the way back.
   
2. One's hip flexors have been unusually exercised.
3. No one passed me the whole day, and it's not like I have a quick variant.
4. If I did this more often, there would be an S40 in my future

A lovely part of the world.
I went from London to Bristol for the Bespoke bike show a while back and really enjoyed the path from Bath, a real delight but even better....
...is another converted rail-line (most of the way) section is from Calne to Chippenham, I think I put a couple of snaps up here somewhere (?).
A must-do section if you get the chance.
