The Huffy worked ok but was heavy.Got this 4# frame from ebay.Should have a test this weekend. Jack After the test ride I decided to change it around some moved seat forward 2in with less recline,Beefed up seat mount with extra plywood and bolts.Bike was ok on the test ride handles ok and is plenty fast for a conversion. Hi defjack,

wow, i need your help with my own little build, 7 builds you have to be a pro at throwing these together, i dont know how heavy these are supposed to be, but my Y26 is by no means a light weight

The first build was the hardest after that its pretty simple. One reason Im using a hard tail is to keep the weight down even with a 4# frame the bike weighs around 36#.The Huffy steel frame weighed 9.5# without the forks . I Wouldn't worry about the weight that much as even a heavy kit bike works very well.

Im too short to have the seat way back so moved it up 2in. Bike rode ok but had to have the boom to short making chain drag on derailer with small front chainring. Jack
