Planning a road trip with 2 Quests--a 451 & a 559. For several reasons, can't travel folded & would prefer to mount either on roof or hitch. Most of the "tray" racks I've seen have limitations or clearly won't fit. Has anyone found a tray/platform system that works...or even better, a "hanging" rack designed for DF frames that securely holds the Quest? Thanks.

It fits either DF or Cruzbikes (you'll need to tell them that's what you want it for). Very solid. (heavy too) but worth it to avoid damage to the frame that can happen from ordinary racks.

Thanks for the links & good ideas. Have contacted Gripsport.

The "top tube" mount photo particularly intriguing...I'm going to have to check ground clearance on that one.

Draftmaster car carrier

I haven't mounted my Quest to our Draftmaster, but I have no doubt that it will.

Previously it has carried 2 Greenspeed trikes or one trike and my wife's Bike Friday Air Glide at 100 miles per hour. My Greenspeed trike was destroyed while on the Draftmaster by the 27 April Ringgold, Georgia (US) tornado. The rack was undamaged.
