How long can a bag of molten speed wax be used repeatedly in a crockpot? I just dumped my first pot of wax after 2000 miles or about 1.5 yrs. It's black so I can't tell if it's very contaminated or not. I figure for another $22, I will just change it to go another 2 years.

that's about right. A second crock with clean race day only wax for big events.
I guess I am not picky or fast enough for it to matter. I just use one pot.
