Cold Feet - Foot Bar Mitts, Fairing FFS

bar mitts work on s40. Full stop. Don’t even have to wear gloves.

For my feet I’ve tried everything. I want bar mitts or fairings or something for my feet. Not more insulation or heat things or whatever. I want something to stop the wind. And then I will be happy. For about 5 minutes at which point I will find something else to chase.

Can anyone help me?

There are toe covers and full boots made of neoprene that help quite a bit. It only gets down to about 0C here so I haven't gone "full boot" yet, but the toe covers do help on my SPD MTB shoes that have thicker soles. Those seem to help a bit with wind protection over thinner road bike shoes. If it is too cold I might slide 1 of those small heat packets inside the toe cover before putting it on my foot. Maybe it will heat the top of my shoe enough from the outside to make a difference.
