Not asking for anything. Just have a strong preference for visibility over fashion, so my preference is "none of the above."

Changing the color once the design is built in Illustrator takes a matter of minutes. I will be able to make any design high vis once the design(s) are settled upon. I used black, red and white for the comps because it's what I had at hand when I drew them. And it matches the paint scheme on my V20. But if your only concern is how bright the jersey is, that's a simple option. The tribal design as an example would work great in loud visible color.

In light of this new jersey, we will need to adjust our line of thinking here.

This jersey does a really nice job with bold graphics and is very recumbent friendly. Which poses a few questions:

1. Would you be willing to buy another jersey on top of purchasing this one?
2. If yes, which would you prefer:
a. Color options to match your preferred Cruzbike steed?
b. A tribal theme, perhaps in a high visibility palette?
c. A subdued randonneur design?

No sense in continuing to draft ideas until we factor this game changer into the mix.

My personal thoughts on the new jersey are torn. I guess I'm just a hair taller than Jim Parker but 85 pounds heavier. (On a lark I went back to our clinic scale and checked my weight. I've dropped 15 lbs. :)) The XL might fit me, but it's a gamble. The side pockets are also problematic. My insulin pump catheter and CGM transmitter are staked into my sides under those areas. Having my cell phone smack my catheter or transmitter every time I hit a bump would suck. I love the design and want one but it's a gamble whether it will fit or be functional.

I would buy both and would still like to move forward with our ideas including options for a-c above as well as the 3000 miles to a cure.
I second Chris' post.

I knew about this official jersey while we were talking about the community one - Jonathan showed it off on his FB account. Doesn't change a thing in my book. As long as we don't blaspheme the brand - we need to make sure we don't even accidentally do it - it's a community thing that the company embraces.
Maria said it herself - "I love this thread."

WHICH, incidentally, is part of why we are inspired to do such a thing.

Another thing, just for obvious/awareness-sake (not restriction) - 3000Miles To a Cure is a different entity than Cruzbike.
Supported by Cruzbike - with donations.
Supported by many of us - with donations and perhaps time.
Supported by some staff of Cruzbike - as in they work (spend time working) for both entities.
But, still different - 3000miles could share none of those affiliations in the future quite easily.

Someone above thought to mention it but just to make it clear...
The intent here is that putting 3000milestoacure on this jersey (and based on votes alone methinks we do) - then each jersey sold should include some amount extra that then get's donated to the charity from the Cruzbike tribe.

I would buy one of each. I love the tribe concept as well as the Australian integration.

It probably should include Charles "picture mantra" in a subtle way. Lol.

Maybe the color options are the current cruzbike model colors. Red, orange, black/white, and the screaming yellow for posterity.

Oh and don't forget to make it with Kevlar for Larry's KOM's.

Been buried prepping for a trade show last week in NYC. Have gotten in a few rides. Should be back here more often now. Getting ready for my big JDRF Tahoe ride in September.

Long sleeves to protect against the sun and some reflective thin stripes (between colors, around the neck...) for safety.
