Comparability issues?

Building a Silvio from the frame up and want to know if this group set would be compatible with the Silvio 2.0. If it would fit fine what type of BB does the Silvio take from the image below. Thanks in advancedimage.png

It'd be like the Ultegra 6800 or Dura-Ace, external cup with a 24mm spindle, "English" thread. You do not want BB30, Press Fit, or any other press-in standard.

Quick answer, there are a couple of potential issues:
- The Silvio 2.0 did not officially support 11 speed groupsets. The front dropout spacing may not quite fit your 11 speed wheel + cassette.
- The outer diameter of the newer Shimano BB is too small to fit the Cruzbike BB clamps. You would either need shims, or a different (not Shimano 6800) BB.

I think others on the forum have direct experience with this.

I fitted the Shimano Ultegra 6800 11 speed group set to my Silvio S30 with no problems. However as has already been pointed out the BB cups of the 6800 are not compatible with the BB clamps. I ended up fitting an old stock Dura-Ace BB, the cups were then the right size to fit into the BB clamps. That said, I'm not sure whether new Dura-Ace BBs still have the larger cups. The easiest way to ensure that you don't end up buying something that is unsuitable is to check with your local bike shop that the standard BB tool fits the cups without the need for an insert.
