I would also possibly be interested in a cheaper kit sans seat. I have a feel the included seat will prove to be too small for me (I am a big critter 6'4" 400 pounds) and was planning to use the seat from an office chair on mine

nerys, use the seat as is.

nerys, use the seat as is. The pressure intensity will be about 8 times less than your current saddle, and more as you recline the seatback - why stress over that? Just get it done I say.
