I bought my new Silvio in January this year. This week Cruzbike dropped the price of the Silvio by $300. This week Cruzbike sent me a $300 credit towards more Cruzbike stuff. Cruzbike is a class act!

First time I have heard of that usage for Fred...but then again, I'm not part of the inner cycling world, so...

"The Fred Factor" is a phenomenal book for anyone in sales, customer service, or who has to deal with the public. I was given my copy by someone that saw me in the story, as a "Fred". It's one of two books that I think every good salesman must read, adopt, and include in their library.

We had a Fred join our LBS A ride one night last year. He was asking me questions such as if we were going to do a double pace line. He was on a 50-pound comfort bike with maybe up to 3 gears. By the way he was talking, I was starting to wonder if he was super human or a cyborg. Then we crossed the intersection where the speed picks up to the mid twenties. He lasted about two seconds and I never saw him again.
