Notes:
(A) If you wish, the tires can be replaced with narrower Compass McClure Pass 40-559 tires
(B) This bike can readily be converted to a carbon seat such as a Volae or Thorseat if you want a more reclined seat. A view of it set up that way can be seen at https://cruzbike.com/forum/threads/a-trail-quest-or-q650b.11010/

Bike is located in Madison, WI. As always, it would be easier to not ship, so I am willing to drive a reasonable distance to meet a buyer if desired.

I initiated a conversation between us to discuss details. Have posted a few questions for you there.

No. It was shipped out early this week. Sorry about not updating the listing. I’ll do so soon.

The ”included extras” listed in the original posting above were sold with the bike. However, the parts under the “Bonus Offer” are still available. That includes the Quest 451 wheels and drivetrain as listed above. Is that what you are asking about?

I was going to offer those parts for sale in a new ad soon, but am out of town until next week.

Greetings Ray: Bit of a long shot - wondering what became of the 451 wheel set? Thanks! Bill

Hi Bill

Unfortunately, that 451 wheelset was sold some time ago. I do however have a very nice 451 rear wheel, Velocity A23 rim and convertible hub (qr or thru axle, Shimano or SRAM XD freehub). Also have two rare Schwalbe Shredda tires in that size. I’ve been thinking of trying it on my Q45 but I may also just decide to put it on the market. If you’re interested I’ll give you a holler once I decide what to do with it.

Thanks Ray - apologies for slow response - must have opted out of notifications, so will have to be more diligent! I have both a 451 v2 & 559 v3, but generally prefer to run the 451's on the v3 frame [packs "flatter" w/long chainstay when fork removed…] . So actually looking for 451 [or 406] w/DualDrive; and/or v3 fork +long chainstay. IMG_0394.JPG
