Cruzn Trav 1 new build

Travis from Perth Western Australia

I Purchased Silvio frame set the other day
After days of searching the net for suitable components etc I have finally purchased all the bits and pieces needed to
complete the build (I think) Will post photos down the track.Parts coming from all over the world. Very hard to get complete
groupsets at the moment I have had to pay top dollar to get what I want straight away. Should all arrive by the end of the week or early next week. I purchased the following:

Ultegra triple groupset with 165mm cranks 11-23 + 53-39-30
Spinergy Stealth pbo wheel set
on one midge drop bars

Just need to get some pedals , probably go for ultegra

Did you buy the Spinergys from Torpedo7? I spotted them there in the list of weekly special items and thought to myself 'they would go brilliantly on a Silvio', and just a few days later I find out that you had exactly the same idea and even better you're actually doing it!

Just out of curiosity, where did you buy your Midge bars from?

Cheers Hotdog

I did get wheels from Torpedo7
Awesome wheels apparently
Midge drop bars from benscycles off US ebay buy now
Spinergy Stealth PBO Wheels were AU$899
Midge Bars AU$110 ish all up inc shipping
Ultegra triple groupset AU$1250
Dura Ace 7810 pedals AU$199
Haven.t started building yet or really looked at any of frameset other than seat
Do I need to buy something to attach handlebars ?
I know absolutely nothing about bikes and have only just become interested in cycling

Putting this baby together might be quite a job
Might flick it to the local bike shop

This is one very comfy bike.Midge drop bars are awsome. Fast bike & I think very good looking.

Every one I pass wants me to stop & show them.

Hi Travis,

Great looking bike, I was wondering when you were going to finish your build.
When JT gets back to Perth we should go for a group ride (hopefully the heat wave will have finished by then). A trio of Silvios would be a sight to behold.

Wow, very nice.

I love deep-rim wheels on these bikes. I think you will be very pleased with your crankset choice, too.

Might be time to move to Perth.

Enjoy your bike!

What is it you guys say?

"What a rippa!"

best...

Heat wave? I could go for some heat wave!
Then move to Texas, oh wait, you're old, so i guess Florida is better, haha ;-)
